Don't choose Sprint!

We left Verizon due to costs- we gave sprint a try for 5 days and realized it was really bad coverage where we live. We returned phones to the store and cancelled the contract - A month later we are getting bills of 2400-2900. The store did not return our phones to the company because the Sprint Corp didn't sent them a return box, 'Meanwhile our credit is in jeopardy .
Can you hear this Sprint? We have spent hours on the phone with them with no resolve.
