Sorry this is long, and very detailed, but I want you all to know just how badly we got ripped off by Sprint
, and prevent somebody else from getting ripped off by these scammers too! Went to Sprint on Dec. 23rd 2016 to look into getting my 2 daughters an IPhone 7, and IPhone 6s Plus for xmas. We ended up getting them both, and found out our monthly bill was going to be around $180 a month. We had to put down a down payment, which we did, then I signed the contract, and the deal was done. While the sprint guy was entering the info for the phones to get them working, he overheard me and my hubby talking about getting phones with tax refunds in Feb. We originally had Boost, 4 lines, and paid $140.00 a month unlimited everything. We loved Boost, only thing that sucks is the phones you have to pay for them in full right away, and that can be rather quite expensive. That's the only downfall with Boost. We couldn't afford that right now thru Boost, and knew if we got a contract phone thru sprint, we could get the phones immediately, and just make payments on them every month. Well the sprint guy asked us if we wanted sprint, we said only if it would be worth it. Hesaid if we wanted any color of phone what color we'd like to choose between black, white, and rose gold. We told him our colors, and said he was going to go talk to his boss, and be back shortly. He came came back with a smile, with 2 IPhone SEs', and told us he could give us both those phones for free, and that we would get unlimited everything for both phones, with no monthly fee for either phone. All we would have to pay for the phones was the insurance if we wanted it. He said if we chose no insurance on our 2 phones, the monthly payment would stay the same, and if we got it would be $193 a month. So we thought it was a great deal, and took it! Now here I am just shy of 3 weeks later, got a message from sprint saying our payment was past due, when it wasn't suppose to be due till the 23rd of Jan, and then I looked at the amount owed and almost had a heart attack! The bill was $331.36!!! They ended up charging us for the monthly fee for the 2 iPhone SEs'! I am beyond angry! I tried talking to a rep online, but they were complete idiots and couldn't understand what I was saying, so now I have to go to the local office, and raise hell. Hope they remember too that when they added the 2 iPhone SEs', they never had me sign another contract, so if they don't fix this issue today, I'm done with these guys! Our very first time getting contract cellphones and this experience has been HORRIBLE! I do not recommend sprint at all to anyone, and if you do go to them, make sure you get everything your suppose to, and make them print out a sheet with your agreement!
